FSMLabs Production TimeKeeping eliminates clock-drift by providing nanosecond level clock synchronization
FSMLabs’ Production Timekeeping guarantees nanosecond level precise timing synchronization and eliminates clock-drift in clusters, distributed nodes and grid computing environments. Production TimeKeeping is capable of providing superior timing accuracy, hard real-time monitoring without loss of time or clock drift from any time source. The product is comprised of both a turnkey server which acts as a NTP server, and client software that installs on Linux machines and transparently improves the accuracy of system and application time.
Production Timekeeping replaces FSMLabs RTTimeSync which required a specially modified real-time Linux base. FSMLabs evolving time synchronization was originally created by FSMLabs for use by the military for mission-critical communications systems and has been adapted to exceed the stringent commercial and industrial time-stamp reporting regulations. The software gives organizations deploying networked PC’s, servers, computing clusters and trading systems an accurate nanosecond time synchronization method between multiple enterprise compute nodes without interruption to or from the enterprise software applications. With our mathematical timing algorithm, clock-drift is totally eliminated and all system timers are in sync with RTTimeSync, even if the systems loses its connection to time sources, such as, GPS or Atomic Clock network time servers.
