FSMLabs’ Enterprise RealTime™ Real-TimeNet is an optimized, completely hard-real-time network stack which enables routing, enterprise fault-tolerance and security. Real-TimeNet also features zero-copy deterministic, fully controllable networking on Gig/Fast Ethernet with support for Multicast, ICMP, IP, UDP and a deterministic subset of TCP. A standard socket API is provided as well as a low-level (more efficient) driver interface. FSMLabs is rapidly extending coverage of the real-time networking component to other buses and protocols.
Applications of real-time networking extend from distributed simulation to financial trading. Real-time networking is accessible from user space in FSMLabs Enterprise RealTime and real-time networking can co-exist with the full featured non-real-time networking of Linux and Windows platforms.
